Quick help with technical problems

If you have technical problems with chessmail, please try the following steps to solve them.

Troubleshooting steps

1. Clear browser cache

Clear your browser cache. This can often help. You can find instructions here: Clear browser cache.

2. Try another browser or another device

If the problem also exists in another browser, e.g. on your mobile phone, tablet or laptop, it is probably a bug in chessmail, then skip to step ‘6. Contact support’.

If not, it is more likely a problem with your browser or operating system, then follow the next steps first.

3. Update your browser and operating system to the latest version

Make sure that your browser and operating system are up to date. Updates often improve security and fix known bugs.

4. Temporarily deactivate add-ons in your browser

Temporarily disable the browser add-ons to make sure they are not causing any problems.

5. Create a post about your problem in the chessmail forum

If the problem persists, you can also contact the other members in the help forum.

6. Contact support

If none of this helps, write an email to support@chessmail.info with a detailed description of the problem. If possible, include a screenshot of the problem.
